About our Semi-Custom & Modified Standard Power Supplies

Originally, DSC Power Solutions was started as a custom power supply design house with the objective of designing, developing and manufacturing custom power supplies, custom military power supplies, custom industrial power supplies and custom aerospace power supplies for aviation, commercial, industrial, and military original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Over the years, we have developed standard lines of power supplies based on proven circuit designs we developed and used over various designs. These became the basis of our PCB platform boards for both input and output sections. These are very easy to make small, on board changes to tailor the “electricals” to individual applications and requirements. All of the platforms are designed to be mounted on a baseplate for conduction cooling and to provide structural integrity. This also makes it very easy to place in different mechanical configurations with in chassis or various enclosures types. Most changes require minimal engineering to complete so our NRE is affordable.

We also do module integration. We have a manufacturing partner that builds a full line of standard products including a variety of rectifier and dc to dc modules. This allows us to be an “integrator” which gives us the ability to quickly mix and match modules mounted on a PCB with integrated componentry to meet most any performance or electrical needs. As part of our business mission, module integration gives us the additional capability to offer small to medium sized OEMs a cost effective option to custom power supplies. It’s all about reducing engineering design time by assembling pre-designed platforms where we can mount and wire it into a chassis that fits the customer’s power supply allocation space.

Our power supply design engineering staff has an extensive history of power supply design, system engineering, project management, and manufacturing expertise to ensure all products are made to meet or exceed product specifications and operating expectations. All products are manufactured under a strict quality control system to assure our power supplies will operate reliably throughout the operational life of your product.
