300 Watt DO-160 Wide Frequency Range Power Supply
Application: Internal cabin equipment requiring a power supply to operate from a 115VAC power source with a 360-800Hz wide frequency range for Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft applications.
Project Abstract: The goal was to use existing “hardware” to minimize the NRE cost, incorporate proven designs and accelerate the delivery cycle for samples. We used a previously designed, wide range frequency frontend as the primary input section and matched it with one of our high efficiency, dc to dc converter modules. These sections were positioned on a PCB that included additional EMI filtering, hold up capacitors and control circuitry. This model was designed to operate in high temp environments and provides conduction cooling through the baseplate.
