About our Industrial Power Supplies

Our industrial power supplies are designed to operate in more difficult environments where there is a need to survive adverse weather conditions and extreme temperature ranges. This platform was designed for single phase applications that require a wide input voltage range (90 to 264Vac) and frequency ranges for operations in different countries. We designated this as our “industrial-grade” power supply series, IP67IPS.

This design employs a high efficiency, power factor corrected, temperature resistant, ac to dc rectifier module to provide an isolated front end for this series. The IFE incorporates an EMI filtering section designed to meet EMC Directives for emissions under EN55022, CISPR 22 Level B and FCC Class B. Also incorporated into the front end is transient and surge protection designed to meet Immunity requirements under 55024.. The back end utilizes high efficiency, dc to dc converters to provide the regulated DC output(s). This design allows us to easily change outputs to meet differing applications, essentially, a tailor made power supply for the OEM without the expensive NRE charges.

A critical design criteria for our “industrial-grade” power supply series is to be weather-proof. This is achieved by utilizing an IP65 ingress rated chassis and IP67 Ingress protected connectors. As with all our high-rel power supply series, this unit is also conduction cooled through the baseplate and can reliable operate at full rated power with a baseplate temperature from -40°C to +85°C.

These are designed to meet EN-IEC 60079-X standards to comply with the ATEX Directive and IECEx certifications relating to equipment for use in explosive atmospheres and our IP67IPS500-24 has a IECEX  certificate for Class 1 Division 2, Groups B, C, D, E, F, & T3 and ATEX certificate for Class I Zone 2.

Our typical power range for the IP67IPS series is 300 watts to 1400 watts, mostly single output. As with all of our series, this is high configurable power supply and can be easily modified to meet other industrial applications.
