DO-160 Wide Frequency Range 350 Watt Aircraft Power Supply
Our AGPS350-1P series power supply product was designed for commercial aircraft applications requiring to operate from a 115VAC power source with a wide frequency range input of 360Hz to 800Hz. This supply is designed to meet power and EMC input requirements under Boeing’s RTCA/DO160 and Airbus’s ABD0100.1.8 electrical qualification testing.
In order to meet these parameters, engineering utilized a forward converter design incorporating a high efficiency, ac to dc, power factor corrected, rectifier module for the input section and a high efficiency DC to DC converter module for the DC output section. Integral to this design is an input filtering selection designed to meet EMI, voltage spikes, and susceptibility requirements under DO-160.
One of the unique features of this DO-160 wide frequency range aircraft power supply product is the operating baseplate temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The advantage of this approach is the cooling is focused on the baseplate rather than the ambient operating temperature or the internal temperature rise when determining cooling requirements.
