Dual Input, 150 Watt, Mil-Grade, Power Supply

This power supply product was designed for a military aircraft modem application that required it to operate from either a 28V dc power source or from a 115Vac, 400Hz, single phase, power source. The supply was designed to meet MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-1275 and would operate in adverse environmental conditions.

This design incorporates a high efficiency, ac to dc, power factor corrected, rectifier module for the AC power source and high efficiency DC to DC converter module for the DC power source. Integral to this design is a unique input circuit switch which allows the selection of which input is active and how it is routed to the output section.

This dual input power supply provides a baseplate for conduction cooling and operates from -40° to +85C° baseplate temperature without derating. It is easily customizable to provide various output voltages and optional controls/signals.
