About our 1U Industrial Computer Power Supplies
Our 1U industrial computer power supply, the FSAK-F series, is a low profile, 1U industry standard form factor for 19 inch rack mount applications. This power supply series is designed for applications requiring “hot-swap” capability to provide the OEM with a quick, interchangeable power module or for use in a N+1 redundancy configuration. This design specifically uses active current sharing circuitry to balance the load sharing among connected power supplies. Also incorporated into this series is OR-ing isolation MOFETS technology to minimize loses and voltage drop.
The FSAK-F 1U industrial computer supply employs a high efficiency, power factor corrected, ac to dc rectifier front end providing the elevated bus voltage for the output section. This “front end” section incorporates the EMI filtering section which is designed to meet EMC Directives for emissions under EN55022, CISPR 22 Level B and FCC Class B. Additionally, this section gives it the ability to accept a wide variety of input voltages and frequencies to operate in around the world.
The FSAK-F 1U power supply is designed as a single output 12V with 5V standby to be used as a standalone unit or in conjunction with multiple power supply units. These series can be configured with a 48V or a 54V or a 56V output voltage.
This design is unique because it uses pre-designed dc to dc modules to provide the output voltages. Using these dc to dc modules, the output section can be populated according to the application. This design allows for the exclusive ability to customize various combinations to provide the 8 configurable voltage outputs plus the ability to parallel them as well.
There are five main power offerings 660 watts, 750 watts, 850 watts, 1000 watts, and 1200 watts. All wattages are offered in a 1U chassis footprint of 40mm x 280mm x 84mm. These supplies include the standard ATX signals: Power Good, Power Sequencing, DC Soft Start, and DC Power Good. Lastly, this series has been going through Safety Agency Certifications updates to meet the latest power supply regulatory requirements under IEC/EN62386-1.
